Oxypora convulata is a mesmerizing encrusting LPS coral known for its intricate ridges, vibrant coloration, and smooth, undulating surface. Often displaying bold hues of pink, green, red, or blue, this coral creates a dazzling effect under actinic lighting. It prefers moderate lighting and gentle to moderate flow, making it suitable for lower to mid-tank placement. While not as aggressive as some LPS, it can extend short sweeper tentacles at night, so give it adequate space from neighboring corals. Ideal for intermediate hobbyists, Oxypora convulata offers dramatic color and texture in a manageable care package.
