Acanthurus nigrofuscus is a modestly sized tang with a dusky brown body, fine blue edging on fins, and a characteristic dark spot behind the eyes. It is a hardy algae grazer that adapts well to captivity and is suitable for community reef tanks with adequate swimming space.
